LOVED this part of the Duet. Laurelin Paige did an amazing job!Donovan really came around in this book. He has harbored many secrets in his darkness for some time. One secret he can no longer hide is the love he has always had for Sabrina since the first day he laid eyes on her. He has a weird way of showing it, but in this Duet you really get to see why he does what he does and why he is the way he is. It was nice to finally get to meet his family and realize why he loves the way he does. Initially I really felt he was creepy and that Sabrina should run from him, but over time you side with him and feel for him. He really had no guidance. I love his true devotion, protection and love for Sabrina. He is also very passionate and does not lack in the love department. They have some sizzling chemistry and to die for love scenes.. HOT HOT HOTSabrina has also come a long way! Just when you think her thoughts and confrontations with Theo are done... They are not. This book takes you on a wild ride and shows what true love, compassion and understanding will do. I love these 2 together. They both grew so much. She finally understands Donovan and the man he is and how he became that way.This is a must read if you love suspense, heart break and an all around great love story. OH and also the amazingly HOT chemistry and scenes ;)
Nohing left of the "savagery" of book 1 here. All is polished, sugar coated and borring. Donovan is tamed, Sabrina is even more annoying and pushy, "I love you" is thrown left and right and the rape fetish that rocked the first book is presented and explained in almost apologetic way. Oh, and evil Theo suddenly and conviniently returns to corner once again dear Sabrina. SO LAME!! The only cool characters that made me smile and saved the day, were Donovan's "delightful" parents.
"Dirty Filthy Rich Love" lives up to it's name. The sex scenes are "filthy" in the best ways. And the Love is "dirty" in a messy perfect for each other way. "Dirty Filthy Rich Love" is the second half of the Dirthy Filthy Rich duet. In this installment Donovan and Sabrina are reunited and must delineate, define, and secure their fledgling romance. Donovan and Sabrina realize that their brand of Love isn't typical or easily defined. For Sabrina she must come to grips with way Donovan expresses his love. She also must reconcile how she deals with how the attempted rape, in her youth, still haunts her. The manner of how she deals with her nightmares and fears is unusual. However Donovan understands her and gets her needs.Much of "Dirty Filthy Rich Love" is Sabrina reconciling how she feels about Donovan's "brand of Love". It's intense, invasive, and possessive. Donovan is extremely vulnerable in this second half of their story. The reader sees the family environment that formed Donovan and created the man he is today. Also the man who attempted to rape Sabrina during university is not just a memory anymore. Sabrina runs into a relative of his at a social event. The biggest reveal is just how involved Donovan was in Sabrina's past. Laurelin Paige produces a thrilling, carnal, and complex romance.This novel was provided, voluntarily read, and honestly reviewed.
